What to Expect
Why it matters?
Feeding challenges are common — but they do not have to be endured alone. This session supports both you and your baby, helping you feel confident, calm and connected. The right support, can prevent long term issues, protect your milk supply and support your feeding goals— whatever they are.

Best scheduled within a few days- 2 weeks of the initial assessment or as needed.

This appointment is a follow-up to the initial feeding assessment. It is ideal for families who want continued support on their feeding journey to achieve their goals. Whether you’re breastfeeding, bottle-feeding, pumping or using a combination, we can work together to address any new or continued concerns and support you throughout the stages on your infant’s feeding journey.
Feeding plan and resources included, with phone check in’s to follow up on progress of the whole family.

Not at all! We work with infants from birth up to 12 months. Whether you are navigating latch challenges (breast or bottle), baby with reflux issues, navigating pumping or even need extra support with a bottle fed baby— this appointment can be tailored to your baby’s age and your goals.

You are absolutely in the right place. This assessment supports all feeding methods — breast, bottle, combo, formula, pumping. We will focus on making feeding easier and more sustainable for you, no matter your starting point.

Yes! Babies can relearn or improve their latch with the right support, even months into feeding. Many families seek help around 2-4 months or even later during teething, growth spurts, bottle refusal or nursing strikes.

That is okay! Sometimes another perspective or follow-up support can make all the difference. I meet you where you are and help build on what is currently going on.

Absolutely. We can talk about pump schedules, bottle introduction or refusal, milk storage, daycare planning and anything else related to going back to work while feeding your baby and what works best for you and your goals.

Try to time it so baby is ready to feed during your appointment. If you can’t, no worries at all. There is plenty we will still be able to do. If you have any feeding tools you are using, please have them nearby. (Bottles, pumps, nipple shields, etc). And, bring your questions! We are here for all of them.

Yes! Feeding is a team effort and I encourage support people to be involved if they would like to.
